COPPA Compliance Information

  • The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a law designed to ensure the online privacy and safety of personal information of children younger than age 13.  You may review COPPA at http://www.ftc.gov/ogc/coppa1.htm
     
    All websites, programs, and applications that currently utilize personal identifiable information are listed in the search window at the bottom of this screen.  If you are unable to access this information, a hard-copy can be provided at your request.

    Throughout the West Ada School District, we use this information for instructional purposes only.  Please be aware that your student’s teacher may or may not be using all the websites, programs, and applications listed here.

    COPPA Compliance Information Search:

    To see all of the apps and programs, press the [Submit] button.

    Search by Schools/District Wide:

    • To see a list of programs used at a specific school, choose "Contains" in the first field and type the name of the School in the search field.   Press Enter or the [Submit] button. 

    • To see a list of programs used District-wide, type "DISTRICT" in the search field.  
      Press Enter or the [Submit] button.

    Search by App ot Program Name:

    • Pick individual programs by choosing the name of the app in the "App, Program Name" field.
      Press Enter or the [Submit] button.
