Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Holly Redmon. I've taught at Pathways for the last 8 years. In that time I have met some of the brightest, kindest and wonderful individuals I could have ever hoped to meet, both in the staff and in the students who come to this school. In the science department we work hard to provide a robust science curriculum which includes scientific argument and thinking, science content knowledge, as well as practical lab skills.
I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Boise State University in 2011, and am considered highly qualified to teach mathematics and science up to 8th grade. I worked in a special education classroom for one year and also worked at the Discovery Center of Idaho teaching summer classes. Additionally, I have attended many classes in science pedagogy at Montana State University and Boise State University. Currently, I am working on a Masters in School Counseling from Boise State University.
In my spare time I enjoy swimming, playing video games, hiking, spending time with my family and my many pets, and of course doing science!
