Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Jodi Bryant
Hello and welcome to fourth grade! This will be my twenty first year teaching and I can't believe it has been that long. I am originally from Pocatello, Idaho and am the only member of my family to have moved away. My children and I love living in this area. I attended Idaho State University in Pocatello where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I continued on to gain a Master's Degree in Special Education. This will be my eighth year teaching fourth grade. I've also taught kindergarten and many years in early childhood special education.
I have three great children ages 19, 17, and 3. My oldest, Kaitlyn, graduated from Meridian High last year and is attending ISU. Emalee is a senior at MHS. She has a fun and spunky personality which keeps us laughing at home. My youngest, Joseph, is having a great time exploring his toddler world. He loves trucks and digging. His favorite phrase is "Let's do this!" I love to run and spend time outside.
I love teaching at Chaparral. For me it is a great place for students and families. My own children spent their elementary years here. I have high expectations of my students and myself. I believe we all need to be working together and take full responsibility for our roles within the classroom. I truly enjoy fourth graders and watching the changes they make during the school year. Their fun personalities and can be pretty wise when they have opportunity to share their thoughts.
