Mr. Samuel Pérez

I was born in a southern-Texas border town and spoke only Spanish as a young child. My family eventually migrated up the Mississippi River and finally settled in Wisconsin where I learned English and graduated from high school.

I attended a small four-year college in North Dakota and earned my B.A. degree and also played college football for three years. It was there when I met my wife, Lori. She is a native Idahoan, so we decided to move to the Treasure Valley after we were married in 1989.

I started my education career as a bus driver, substitute teacher and high school football coach. Later, I pursued further studies and taught at various public and private schools. Teaching is a calling for me, because I believe there is no greater joy than to inspire students to reach their goals and be confident in their natural and learned abilities.

I enjoy flyfishing, camping, reading, various sports and video games.

Hablo muy poco español, pero estoy aprendiendo. :)
