    About these resources...

    The activities, references, and videos on this page are intended as supplemental learning resources for students to use during remote learning. These resources are intended to either provide additional basic information, or access more challenging material for deeper understanding. None of the activities are required, and students should be able to complete their learning using only the information supplied in the learning packets.

    • ON-LINE LESSON: Forces and Newton's Laws of Motion by Khan Academy. This is a self-paced unit that includes videos, interactive quizzes, and Khan Academy resources. I would recommend making an account to save your work. Our curriculum includes the first section of the unit: Newton's Laws of Motion.     • DOCUMENTARY: Rise of the Rockets on NOVA. This is an EXCELLENT documentary on the development of rockets and space travel. It includes some of the basic funamentals on why rockets work and where thrust comes from. Available on PBS without subscription: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/video/rise-of-the-rockets/
