Websites and Downloads

  • Here are online programs that I use for STEM and ERI classes.

    • West Ada students have free access to Microsoft Office 365.
      • Students login using their username@westada.org and password i.e. FLAMS4753@westada.org
    • We just started using Minecraft Education Edition for science lessons!
      • Minecraft Education Edition may need to be installed via the Company Portal on the student device.
    • Imagine Learning and i-Ready apps are online learning programs that students use for individual learning targets.
    • Tinkercad is a 3D CAD program for student design and engineering projects.
      • Class code needed to login. Currently 4th and 5th grade students, but I can add other students at parent request
      • Parents can create their own account for a student, but class accounts are prefered for 3D printing projects.
    • Wakelet is like Pinterest. I make video and website collections for various learning opportunites that I use in my ERI and STEM classes.
      • It does have a tablet and phone app that you can download on your personal device to access this content at home. 
      • (Standard data rates apply on any mobile devices.)

     

    I suggest creating a Bookmark of frequently used website apps on your students Favorite Bar in the Microsoft Edge web browser.
