Making Online Meal Payments

Meals will be provided for West Ada students at our schools Free during this time.For the convenience of our patrons, we now offer three options to pay for meals or place money on accounts: Cash, Check (made payable to School Nutrition Services) and MyPaymentsPlus.
MyPaymentsPlus (www.mypaymentsplus.com) is an online service that provides patrons the convenience and information to manage meal accounts. The system speeds up serving lines in the cafeteria, eliminates the need to send checks to school or worry about lost/forgotten lunch money, and ensures that students will receive a nutritious meal. Please note when registering for MyPaymentsPlus that the name of the district is listed as Meridian, not West Ada. Be sure to click Meridian School District.
The MyPaymentsPlus app is available in the Apple® App StoreTM! The MyPaymentsPlus app is the first and only K12 online payment solution for school meals available in the mobile world.
The free MyPaymentsPlus app takes convenience to another level for parents by placing many features from the MyPaymentsPlus.com website into the palm of their hands. Simplicity and security are at the core of the MyPaymentsPlus app, allowing parents to login with their existing usernames and passwords, check account balances, review purchase history and make payments using a credit card, debit card, savings account, or checking account. Parents can even upload their student’s picture(s) for a personalized feel.
The MyPaymentsPlus app utilizes the same security methods used by leading online and mobile banking services. To download, parents simply search “MyPaymentsPlus” in the Apple iTunes store. The MyPaymentsPlus app is currently available for the Apple® iPhoneTM
and iPadTM and is being developed for Google’s Android operating system. New features such as fee and activity payments, etc. will be released in future generations of the product.

- Check current account balances
- Monitor items purchased in the cafeteria
- Establish settings to receive e-mail notifications of lunch accounts with a low balance
- Make a prepayment on a meal account using a check, credit or debit card at www.mypaymentsplus.com. Funds deposited through MyPaymentsPlus are usually available for student use within minutes of the transaction.

Meal Cost Guidelines
Each student and employee in the West Ada School District is set up with an account in the School Nutrition Services system. A student or employee identification number is used to access the account to purchase either breakfast or lunch.This is a prepayment system that allows any amount of money to be placed on the account. Students that will be returning to the school district may leave positive balances on their accounts for use the next year.Seniors or students moving out of the district may request a refund by contacting the Bookkeeper at the School Nutrition Services office at (208)855-4575.In emergency situations, elementary (K-5) students may charge up to $1.20 for reduced and $7.50 for paid on their food account and secondary students may charge up to $.80 for reduced and $6.50 for paid on their food account. It is recommended that students place money on accounts before school or use MyPaymentsPlus.If you receive food stamps, you are automatically enrolled in our free and reduced program as free. A notification letter will be sent out from our office. If you don’t receive a letter please call (208)855-4575. This will prevent any interruption of benefits at the beginning of the year. Parents are responsible for payment until you are qualified as free in our system. Free and reduced applications are not shared between school districts. If a child transfers from another district in which they were free or reduced, parents will need to re-apply when registering a child in our district. Parents are responsible for any charges which incur during the transition. Free and reduced applications must be completed annually even if a student was free or reduced the previous year. If applications are not received by the 30-day deadline, parents will be held responsible for any charges until a new application is completed.
