District Resources

  • SERVICES available for students who are experiencing homelessness: 
     
    • Qualification for free breakfast and lunch program;
    • Transportation assistance for children to remain in their school of origin;
    • After school tutoring programs for students enrolled in a non-Title I school;
    • Mentoring for students grades 8-12;
    • Case Management by Homeless Grant Social Worker to connect to community resources.
     
    To arrange for the services above, contact your child's school counselor. 
    • Meridian Schools Clinic

      Students who are experiencing homeless can receive medical and mental health services through Meridian Schools Clinic regardless of medical insurance and ability to pay.  Types of services available:  general check-ups; sports physicals; immunizations; mental health services (medication management and counseling).
