• National Junior Honor Society is a national organization for 8th grade students. Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and no major behavior violations will receive an invitation to apply during the spring semester of their 7th grade year. Applications received will be reviewed by the adviser (Miss Goetz) and then looked over my members of faculty council to finalize the top candidates. Due to class size, only a certain number of candidates will be accepted into the club. (around 35 max) Once accepted into the organization, students are required to maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above, complete 20 community service hours per semester and uphold the pillars of Citizenship, Character, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship.

Some examples of events NJHS partakes in each year are custodial help nights, volunteering at Idaho Youth Ranch, Pennies for Patients fundraiser, reading to students at Lake Hazel Elementary, and much more.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the adviser, Miss Goetz.
