We had a blast on our field trip to Celebration Park. It was a little warm for the end of September, but we learned so much. The guides shared a lot of great information about the earliest Native Americans in southwestern Idaho, and we did a great job throwing the atlatls. The park is open all year long, and it is a gret family trip. We thank the PTA for generously funding our field trip to Celebration Park.
As we get farther into the school year, we are learning to use several apps on our iPads. We have just started uploading work onto Seesaw and your parent access letters will be coming home shortly. It is exciting to be able to share our projects with you.
I hope to see most of you at Parent-Teacher conferences in the near future.
Welcome to a new year of learning; I can't wait to meet you all. There is so much to learn, and I will remind your fourth grader over and over just how fast this year will seem to fly by. We will jump right in to learning. Several papers will come home to parents in the first few weeks. It would be great if they could come back quickly. We do have a new reading series, and it looks like the stories can be accessed from many devices. That will be a great home resource. Magnetism and electricity are our first science topics. I'm sure your student will have amazing facts to share with you, and possibly a cool experiment, or two. This is also the year kids learn Idaho History. Let the adventure begin...
