Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Kari Curry
I began my teaching career in Tucson, Arizona in 1993. I knew I wanted to teach English, but it wasn't until I got my first job at Orange Grove Middle School that I realized that middle school was where I wanted to plant my teaching roots. In 2000, I moved to Southern California where I taught 8th grade English at Corona del Mar High School until 2006 when my husband and I moved to Meridian, Idaho. We have a sophomore daughter who attends Southern Orange County School of the Arts in Dana Point, California; one daughter who is an eighth grader at Heritage; and a son in fifth grade at Paramount Elementary. I feel very fortuate to work for Heritage Middle School as it shares my same interest: helping kids grow.
