These are some of the applications that may be used by your child's teacher. Not every teacher will use every website, program or application. This list will be updated as new resources are implemented.
Seesaw: The Learning Journal--Seesaw is an online journal that allows parents to see what their child is learning at school. Your child will be posting their completed projects to this app. Content is uploaded to this portfolio by scanning a class QR code. All items are approved before making them available to their peers and parents.
Nearpod: Nearpod transforms a teacher driven lesson into a student centered/interactive lesson experience.
Story Buddy: This is the app we use to create digital books. Students are able to publish and add audio recordings to their digital books
30 Hands: Create and Show What You Know: Students can incorporate a variety of media such as video, pictures, audio, and music to create amazing presentations.
Sumdog: A kid favorite for skill and fluency building in math! The students can log in for practice and play games against each other while building math skills!
Adobe Voice: Adobe Voice is an iPad app that allows your child to make an amazing voice narrated slideshow.
Popplet: Popplet helps students think and learn visually by allowing them to map ideas, cycles, and learning maps.
Explain Everything TM Interactive Whiteboard: Explain Everything allows the students to create a project where they can explain a concept or to demonstrate their understanding of specific content.
Kids A-Z (Raz-Kids): The Kids AZ app lets your child access eBooks and eQuizzes for the 300+ titles available through the K-2 subscription to Raz-Kids.
Kahoot!: Kahoot is a game-based blended learning platform. It is a student response system that tallows kids to answer curriculum- based questions online. It provides immediate feedback.
XtraMath- This website allows daily +1- fluency practice.
Moby Max: MobyMax is an adaptive curriculum which creates a unique, individualized education program for each student, allowing gifted students to progress as quickly as they like while simultaneously ensuring that remedial students get the extra instruction they need. All content areas are covered on MobyMax.
Puppet Pals: This allows students to create their own shows with animation and audio.
Green Screen by Do Ink: This allows students to create videos using green screen technology.
ChatterPixKids: This brings any object to life. Students take a photo, draw a line to make a mouth, and record their voice to make the object talk.
Book Creator: This allows students to create a book digitally using text, video, images, music, and narration.
TENMARKS: Ten Marks provides individualized online lessons in math.
Sock Puppets: This allows students to create lip-synced videos and puppet shows.
QuickVoice: This is an app used for voice recordings.
GarageBand: This allows students to turn a device into touch instruments. Instrumental sound effects can be added to voice recordings.
Class Dojo: A digital classroom management tool designed to help teachers improve student behavior and communicate more effectively with parents.
ShowMe Interactive Whiteboard: This allows the students to create a project where they can explain a concept or demonstrate their understanding of specific content.
Aurasma: This allows students to create, manage, and track augmented reality experiences.
Edmodo: Edmodo makes a teacher's daily life easier by providing a safe ancl easy way for teachers and students to engage and collaborate for free, anytime, anywhere.
Spelling City/VocabularySpellingCity: This is a fun way to learn spelling and vocabulary words by playing engaging games using any word list.
Khan Academy: Khan Academy allows you to learn alnnost anything for free.
Quizlet: Quizlet is a place where everyone can share knowledge in any subject, at any level and gain confidence as a learner.
