    Art Displays

Artwork from art class will be given back at the end of each Semester. One piece of artwork from each Semester will be kept to share at the Art Show in May. There are displays on upper campus, at music concerts, district office and around Eagle community.

Art on Fridays with Mrs. Wells

On Fridays at lunch recess Mrs. Wells, our school psychologist, teaches an art lesson with whatever students attend.

    Meet the Masters

As a whole school we study two artists a year. These artists are taught by a parent volunteer and taught in the homeroom classroom. For volunteering to teach a class please Mrs. Wydick.

     Art Contests

These contests are optional. I get flyers for various ones and I wish I could participate in all of them but there is not enough time. If interested please encourage your child and I will assist however I can.

     Visiting Artists & Assemblies

There are times when we have the opportunity to have Artists in Residency participate at our school. Through Ballet Idaho we have have an artist in residence teach our 2nd graders dance with a 10 week program. Through Idaho Commission on the Arts grant we have in the past had Rachel Swensen and LiAnne Hunt work with 2nd and 3rd grade to teach and perform a dance recital as well as other wonderul and inspiring artists!

If you or someone you know would be interested in working with our students teaching any of the arts please contact me or Mrs. Hoppe, EESOA principal.
