    Maryann Rogers President

I’ve lived in Boise area for 3 years. We moved here when my Husband retired after 26 years of service in the Air Force.  We wanted a to raise our family in a place that was great for kids, so Boise is where we chose.

I’ve been a Stay At home Mom for 6 years.  I spent 15 years in the Pre-School field as a Teacher and Curriculum specialist. Now that I’m not working, Ihave been referreed to as a Professional Volunteer.  I am the regional Fundraising Mentor for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life and serve on the local committee.  I  also serve on the Advisory Council for the local DeMolay Chapter.  I enjoy hanging with my family which includes my husband, Chris, my son Ian, and Nephew, Timothy.  I try to instill the importance of giving back to the community in the boys by being a posyive example of doing just that.PTA also sets an example for our children and reinforces the importance of school. I look forward to working with such an amzing group of people and helping the Students & Teachers of Pepper Ridge succeed this year.

My name is Genia Black and I am the PTA Treasurer for the 2018/19 school year.  This is my first year on the board and I am looking forward to using my skills to help the PTA.  I graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance.  I am now an Accounting Manager for large Idaho based company.  I grew up in a small town in Eastern Idaho where I learned to love the outdoors.  I am married and have two children who attend Pepper Ridge Elementary.  We love to spend time together as a family skiing, camping, playing games, biking, watching movies, and just being together.
