• West Ada Celebrates College Application Week November 6-10, 2017

During College Application Week, seniors will have a list of tasks to complete which may include: applying to at least one college, technical school or training program; applying for the Idaho Opportunities Scholarship; requesting transcripts via Naviance; researching scholarships, how concurrent credits will transfer to the college of their choice; and exploring college majors. Students will be taught how to use Naviance (sign in, order transcripts, take interest inventories, and explore colleges and occupations). Idaho college representatives may be available for students to ask questions. Furthermore, students will be introduced, or reconnected, to the Next Steps Idaho webpage as well as Apply Idaho.

Apply Idaho allows Idaho students to submit applications to any, or all eight of Idaho’s public colleges and universities at one time, without paying any application fees.

West Ada high schools are offering a variety of opportunities this fall to learn about financial aid opportunities and complete the FAFSA with support from their counselors. Please contact your student’s college and career counselor for more information or to answer any questions you may have about this exciting, yet challenging process.
