Additional High School CTE Programs

  • In addition to the CTE Pathways taught at the three CTE Centers that are open to students througout the district (with a few exceptions), each zoned-home high school (Eagle, Centennial, Meridian, Mountain View, and Rocky Mountain High Schools) also offer CTE elective classes.  These classes fall under these broad categories:

    •    Business, Marketing, and Office Technology (including Accounting and Mountain View High School's "High School of Business" program.)

    •    Family and Consumer Sciences (including some Parenting & Child Development)

    •    Health Professions (including Sports Medicine)

    •    Media Technology (including Graphic Design/Communications, Broadcasting Technology, and Photography)

All CTE program classes offer students a competitive advantage in college and the workforce through applied learning opportunities, leadership and student organizational opportunities, quality instruction and state-of-art equipment. For more information on each of these progams, see your home high school's current Course Description Handbook.
