The Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program features a project-based curriculum designed to challenge and engage the natural curiosity and imagination of middle school students. They will envision, design, test their ideas, and use computer software to aid them in their discoveries. The knowledge that students gain and the skills they build from PLTW create a strong foundation for further Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) learning in high school and beyond.
Students will be learning about automation and robotics this year using VEX robotics and Robot–C programming.
- Students acquire knowledge and skills in problem solving, teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
- Students will get to build simple machines and eventually automate them by writing code
- Students use a robust robotics platform to design, build and program a robotics solution to solve an existing problem.
Please check Power School weekly to stay updated on grades.
