• Building Resilience

    Resilience is defined as the ability to bounce back.  Research tells us that people who go through traumatic events and actually end up stronger afterward as opposed to those that struggle for a significantly longer time afterward behave in different ways. The exciting news about this research is that we can train ourselves to be more resilient by doing activities that build resilience in four areas: social, emotional, mental, and physical.  The printables below were created as part of a unit on building resilience.
