Prior to participating on a sports team, Meridian High School, parents must provide the following: current address, emergency contact, insurance, medical alert and health history information. To expedite this process Meridian High School uses an online data entry system. To enter your student’s information, visit www.swol123.net.

What's the cost to play HS football?The estimated cost to play high school football is $1,200/player. Registration dues cover approx. 30% of the total amount needed to fund the program. The rest is subsidized by mandatory participation by players in fundraising. Costs include, but not limited to, annual helmet inventory refurbishment and/or replacement, uniform (2 sets, away/home) inventory replacement and/or replenishment for Freshman/JV/Varsity, shoulder pad re-certification/replacement/ replenishment, mini-camps, transportation, coaching staff stipends, officials, equipment, game management, etc.
What fees can I expect for MHS football?Fees include, but are not limited to, school/district mandated fees, $350 FROSH Football Registration Dues; $450 VAR/JV football Registration Dues, $75-$100 Spirit Pack Practice Gear, incl. mouth guard, practice jersey, shirt, shorts, etc; up to $175 leased helmet program, if elected; summer camp, travel, etc.
Are there any fundraising requirements?Yes, the Football Program & Warrior Football Boosters organize several fundraisers each year to subsidize the costs for the program. Each player is required to participate in fundraising through Raise It Pro online fundraiser, Banner Sales, Annual Dinner Auction, sponsorship, letter writing campaign, donations, etc. “When necessary, all activity or program participants will be expected to fund raise or make a personal payment for fees in lieu of fundraising.”- Joint District #2 – Policy Title Fundraising Activities.
Does the School and/or District Cover Costs?No. West Ada School District considers sports as extra-curricular activities, which means the cost to play is funded by player fees and fundraising.
What is the Athletic Participation Fee?In order for a student to participate in competitive athletics in the West Ada School District, a fee is required. Collected fees are part of the District budget, used to assist in paying coaches’ salaries
Is the Athletic Participation Fee included in Football Registration Dues?No. The Athletic Participation Fee is paid directly to the School.
How much is Athletic Participation Fee?The fee is set by the District. In 2018-2019, the Fee was $110 per sport.
What is an Activity Card?In addition to, and separate from, the football registration dues, and Athletic Participation Fee, in order to participate in any sport, any student-athlete is required to purchase an activity card during school registration in August.
How much is an Activity Card?The cost for an Activity Card is set by the District. In 2018-2019, the cost was $44.50.
