Varsity Head Coach
Degrees and Certifications:
Varsity Assistant Coach
Hello, my name is Katelin Shannon and I am very excited to be part of the Warrior Tribe.
I enjoy being active, so I was a three sport athlete during my high school years at Vallivue High School. I played volleyball, basketball and tennis. After high school I went on to play four years of college basketball at The College of Idaho while I was receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
I am currently a 4th grade teacher in the Middleton School District and working on my Masters in Elementary Education.
I enjoy coaching and watching athletes grow in the sport I love. I was the head coach of JV and Varsity assistant coach at Middleton High school before coming to Meridian to coach with my former high school coach, Stu Sells.
My family is most important to me and I enjoy being with them any time I can. In my free time in Idaho, I enjoy to hike, run and be in the outdoors. When I can escape, I go to wherever there is a beach and sunshine!
Looking forward to a great season!
Hello, I'm Ebony Norman and I am a former alumni player at Meridian High (2011-2015)! I am also a former Hoop Dreams player (2008-2015). I had the opportunity to play basketball at North Idaho College and Salt Lake Community College!
When I am not coaching, I enjoy being a mom to my son and getting my nails done.
This is my second year coaching and my first year as a head coach. My goal while I'm here is to have this tribe to be true to themselves, work hard at everything they do, and most of all be able to take criticism and utilize it in the most positive way! Winning will come as we work as one.
Thank you as a program and parents for giving me this opportunity.
My name is Aidrie Voile. I am in my first year of coaching and I am elated to have this opportunity with Meridian High School girls basketball.
I have played basketball for about 12 years and I am currently adjusting to my first year as a coach and not an athlete. I grew up in the small town of New Plymouth, Idaho, where I attended high school and played three years of varsity basketball. I suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the beginning of my junior season, however I was able to come back and play my senior year. Prior to my injury, head coach,Stu Sells coached me in the off season in his club basketball program, Flash Academy.
After high school, I accepted an offer to attend The College of Idaho and play on the women's basketball team After the completion of my freshman season, I left The College of Idaho and transferred to Boise State University to complete my bachelors in interior design.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, being outdoors and most of all spending time with my family. I have two sisters, one who still plays for New Plymouth High School and two amazing and supportive parents that have been my rock through my journey!
I am honored and beyond excited to be coaching the Sophomore MHS girls team and to join Coach Sells in this program!
