Hello and welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Desert Sage Elementary.  My name is Candice Sapp and I teach K-3 Extended Resource for our Special Education program.  Let me tell you some things about me!   I am a mother of 2 children (Kinder and a Senior) and two step daughters.  I love pets and have one wild Chocolate Lab and a super fluffy kitty.  I love spending time with my family.  We love spending summers camping, fishing, and making smores with my kids.  I went to school to become an Elementary school teacher and found that I really loved special education.  I believe that all kids can learn, however, many kids need more supports and strategies needed to learn.  As a mother of one child who needed these additional supports, I know it can be done and am driven to help them learn.  I am very happy to be at Desert Sage and have felt accepted as a new resident to Idaho.
