    • January 16 - Finals for 1A & 2A
    • January 17 - Finals for 1B & 2B

     

    Students will turn in Journals 51-53, have ~30 minutes to study, and then take the Eastern European Unit Test.

    • January 14 - Finals for 3A & 4A
    • January 15 - Finals for 3B & 4B

     

    For classes with finals: Students will turn in Journals 51-53, have ~30 minutes to study, and then take the Eastern European Unit Test.

     

    For classes without finals: Students will have the study guide and time to work on it or catch up on missing tests/quizzes/assignments.

    Today students will finish notes over Eastern Europe - focusing on compairing/contrasting Commmunism, Socialism, Totalitarianism, Democracy/Capitalism as well as the history of Yugoslavia, Bosnia, and Kosovo.

     

    Students will complete Journal #53 and get the Eastern Europe Map (that will be part of the final).

    Today students will complete Journal 51, take notes over the geography and culture of eastern Europe and Russia. Students will get their Eastern Europe vocabulary and have time to work on it in class.

    The students will continue to study and analyze the religion, culture, government, economics, and geography of Asia. The students will finish China and be introduced to Japan’s history and culture. The students will be able to identify Japanese social hierarchy and they will identify Japan’s number one sport.

     

    Today students will complete Journal 45, finish taking notes/discussing Asia, and will get a study guide for the test.

The students will finish China and be introduced to Japan’s history and culture. The students will be able to identify Japanese social hierarchy and they will identify Japan’s number one sport.

     

    Today we'll complete Journal #34, finish notes over China, start notes over Japan, and take the quiz over the Most Influential People in History tournament.

    The students will continue to study and analyze the religion, culture, government, economics, and geography of Asia. The students will be introduced to China’s history and culture. They will recognize the Great Wall of China and define China’s one child policy.

     

    Today we'll complete Journal #33, take notes/discuss China, and take a quiz over the map handed out on 12/4 & 12/5.

    The students will examine and explore the religion, culture, government, economics, and geography of Asia. They will be able to locate India on a map as well as explain the Caste System.

     

    Today we'll complete Journal #32 and take notes/discuss India.
