We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works. But only a tiny fraction of us are learning how technology works. Learning to write programs stretches your mind, helps you think better, and creates a way of thinking about things that are helpful in all domains; math, reading and writing.  


    There are two 8-week, 1-hour sessions: Fall and Winter (Grades 3-5)

    Fall - Two concurrent classes

    • Beginner - Tuesdays
    • Refresher - Wednesdays
    • Code.org curriculum - self guided


    Winter - Tuesdays

    • Girls Who Code curriculum
    • Learning more about coding process and history
    • Scratch platform - building own games
