Summer Opportunities for Youth 2020
Academy NExT will be hosting two summer camps that provide a residential program. Students will stay overnight in the dorms at Idaho State University, eat in the cafeteria, and participate in activities grounded in STEM. The activities will support communication, soft-skills, and career exploration. Please contact Jenn Gallup, (208) 282-5382, email@example.com with any questions.
Week 1, June 8-12 will include students with more significant disabilities and communication challenges. Up to 8 students.
Week 2, July 27-31 will include students with mild to moderate disabilities. Up to 16 students.
For a student to be a participant in the program they need to be a client of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. This process can take up to 12 weeks; therefore, it will be necessary to start soon. Contact your student’s school special education case manager to connect with a Voc Rehab counselor.
