Four Year Planner
The state of Idaho requires ALL 8th grade students complete a 4-year planner. The purpose of the planner is to help students create a plan for high school which they can refer back to and change throughout their high school career. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the classes offered by our district, including many specialty areas of study (Career Technical Education courses).
The 4-year planner can be VERY confusing. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for students and parents to complete. The most important thing to remember is that this is a tentative plan and is meant to be altered throughout a student’s high school career. The students will need to fill in elective choices for all 4 years. Students will begin working on their Four-Year Planners during a presentation given in their English class. Students will save their Four-Year planner to their West Ada OneDrive account; they will then share this document with you to obtain your approval. Parents are required to approve the 4-year planner using a link within the document.
