Rocky Mountain H.S. Girls’ Soccer Preseason
Please note that all events scheduled below are subject to change as we learn more from the State, IHSAA, West Ada School District and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Department.
We understand that this is a unique situation and hope everyone has patience and flexibility as we navigate this pandemic.
This is the information we have as of today.
Athletic physicals are required for ALL 9th and 11th graders and any athlete new to Rocky Mountain athletics.
Off Season Conditioning-Optional
Sign up, waiver and payment will be directly through Off The Field. We anticipate an 8-week program from June 14th-August 5th, Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-10:30am. As with everything else prepare for changes.
We will have open play Monday-Thursday from 10:30-Noon, June 14th-July 22nd. Open play is open to all soccer players at Rocky Mountain H.S.
We ask that all participants bring their own water bottles which cannot be shared with other players. We also require face coverings to be worn when not on the field. These practices can change from week to week, day to day.
We anticipate that the camps will go on as scheduled. We ask that you sign up on the first day of camp rather than in advance as previous years.

Rocky Mountain H.S. Girls’ Soccer Camp-Optional
July 26th-30th from 9:00am-11:00pm
Rocky Mountain H.S. Girls’ Soccer Tryouts-Required
Monday August 9th-Wednesday August 11th 9:30am-11:30am
Rocky Mountain H.S. Parent Athlete Meeting-Required
Wednesday, August 18th at 6:00pm in the stadium. (This is a tentative date). This is required for all girls and their parents assigned to the JV and Varsity teams.
Rocky Mountain H.S. Varsity Soccer Practices-Required
Thursday August 12th, Friday August 13th, Saturday August 14th, and Monday August 16th-Thursday August 19th, times TBA.
Anticipating our first game will be on Friday August 20th, ten practice days are required to participate in the 1st game for both varsity and JV teams.
We have no idea how the preseason and season will procced but will follow guidelines set up by the conference and our school district. We can expect those practices to change as we get more information.
Please stay away from all activities if you are sick or have any symptoms for the safety of the group.
