GTT Design & Modeling

  • Class Description

    • Students discover the design process and develop an understanding of the influence of creativity and innovation in their lives. Students start off with a challenge that will test their abilities. Next students will begin several different units that build upon each other and end in a final toy project. They are then challenged and empowered to use and apply what they have learned throughout their previous school experiences.

    Students work will be turning in all their work in their OneNote Notebook.

    Class proficiency scales are based on a 4-1.

    4= Advanced

    3= Proficient/Meets Expectations

    2= Developing

    1= Beginning/Warning

    Based on West Ada School District guidelines, the proficiency scales is translated in the following percentages to be entered into Power School.

    If you see that your grade (or your student's grade) in Power School show a majority of 90s then they are proficient for that assignment. You (your student) are right where they should be based on the standards assigned to that project or assessment.

    Every assignment has a corresponding rubric in your OneNote Notebook. When graded, the appropriate scales are marked, and an overall score is given.

    If you have questions, please ask me and I will be happy to discuss them with you.
