IBOB (Idaho Battle of the Books) is a statewide voluntary reading program that encourages students to read quality literature that represents a variety of genres, writing styles, and viewpoints. We want to motivate and celebrate students who love reading, increase reading comprehension, and promote cooperative collaboration and teamwork. In a nutshell, IBOB is like sports, but with books!
Teams of up to 4 (one alternate is optional) students will read the books listed below. As a team, you can decide how to split up the books or if you want to read them all. Teams will have the fall semester to read the books. Battles against other teams will be held during the spring semester.
If you have questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or come into the library. You can also visit the IBOB Website for more information.
