Owyhee High School will relieve overcrowding at Eagle and Rocky Mountain High Schools and absorb enrollment increases in the Meridian High School attendance area.
Incoming seniors will be allowed to remain at their current high school for their final year.
- Seniors must provide their own transportation.
- Younger siblings will attend the new high school.
The northern border is West New Hope Road until it reaches Wing road. It then jogs south briefly to keep a cul-de-sac together, finally extending East to Highway 16. The western border will run alongside the western boundary of the district. The southern boundary will be Ustick Road from Can-Ada to Meridian Road. On the east side, it will run north on Meridian Road from Ustick to McMillan, then west to Ten Mile, north up to Chinden, west to Black Cat Road and then north to the river. It will then connect to Highway 16.
Students living in the square mile south of Owyhee High School be allowed to open enroll at Owyhee High school. These will include the residents living in Silver Spur Ranch as well as the residents directly across the street from the school.
