Mrs. Amy Moulton

I was born in the small town of Bishop, California. After graduating from Bishop Union High School in 2000, I moved to Caldwell, Idaho where I attended The College of Idaho. I graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Physical Education and a minor in Reading and Elementary Education. In 2005, I graduated with a Masters in Elementary Education with an emphasis in leadership and technology.
I began my teaching career as a first grade teacher in 2005 at Washington Elementary in Caldwell, Idaho. After two years, in 2007 I took a first grade teaching position with the Meridian School District. I taught first grade for six years at Desert Sage Elementary through the school year 2012-2013. I am currently starting my eighth year at Peregrine Elementary and my sixteenth year of teaching first grade.
My passion is teaching but when I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband Chad, my twelve year old daughter, Kallie, my nine year old son, Austin, and our 10 month old black lab Brody. We enjoy being active, love sports (especially baseball) and outdoor activities. We love playing slow pitch softball, golf and volleyball with friends. My son plays baseball and basketball and my daughter is on the Nampa swim team. We are always on the go and I wouldn't have it any other way. Some of the many things I enjoy are Coffee, baseball (I am a huge Dodger Fan), swimming, camping, reading, baking, dancing and music (country and pop).
