BA in English teaching from BYU Minor in Art History History endorsement from SUU

Mrs. Reegan Alder

I moved to the area from Salt Lake City, Utah a month ago, and am LOVING it! This community is so kind and accepting; I feel so welcome. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a teaching degree, and have been teaching ever since! This is my 8th year teaching English at the high school level. I have 1 ½ kids (Wesley who is 3, and ?? who is due in November), I am weirdly passionate about art history and may have my own YouTube channel, and I LOVE chocolate chip cookies.

  • Want to Help??

The past few years have been so weird. I want to applaud you and your students for being flexible, for wearing masks, and for coming back to school.  This year more than ever, I am in need of classroom donations so I can provide materials and books for your student. My goal is to reach at least $1000 which will allow me to individualize my book selection for your student.  This is a way you can help in your student’s classroom without physically being here, and you can use it as a tax write off!

I know times are difficult right now so if this isn’t feasible for you, consider finding another way to help a teacher. Write a note, say thank you, pass it forward. Thank you in advance for donating to your child’s education and for future students in my classroom as well.

Here’s how you can donate funds:

    • Click on the district link: https://www.westada.org/Page/52729
    • Choose the amount you would like to donate.
    • In the school option, click on 410 Owyhee and write my name, Reegan Alder.
    • Fill out the rest of the form and submit.
    • Do a celebratory dance or, if you hate dancing, know that somewhere I’m doing a celebratory dance and toasting your name.

    *all donations are tax deductible.

Here’s how you can donate materials:
