Greetings!  This is my 19th year teaching in the West Ada School District and my 14th year at Sawtooth.  I taught math my first 8 years here and am now loving teaching life science. I have also taught 4th and 5th grade but will never go back to elementary. Middle schoolers are the best students to teach!

I have a wonderfully, fantastic husband of 33 years and 2 great boys.  Josh has started his own woodwoorking business while working at a custom sign shop to pay the bills. He has been married to the best daughter-in-love in the world, Lael, and they are the proud parents of our granddog, Willie.  Our youngest son, Sam, was in the first 6th grade class that opened Sawtooth and is an EMT who is starting his second year in the RN program at BSU. His goal is to become an ER or trauma nurse.

My goal is to ignite a passion for science in my students and to encourage them to question everything while seeking answers.
