Jessica Skollingsberg

Jessica Skollingsberg has been at MVHS for 2 years, and is also a 2nd year teacher.  She left the culinary industry in 2016 to pursue a bachelor's degree in Career and Technical Education and began teaching Culinary Arts in 2018.  Chef Skollingsberg's favorite part of class is when a student has an "Ah-Ha" moment such as successfully flipping an egg with the pan, or feeding 10 feet of pasta through a noodle cutter, or when they taste a dish they were unsure of and find that they love it.  A new adventure for Skollingsberg has been co-advising FCCLA this school year, and being able to take part in students pushing themselves to learn new skills and use them in their projects.  She has 2 kids and about 150+ more at the school.
