Letter from Superintendent Ranells 01/06/2021
Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
This week marks my sixth year as the superintendent in West Ada School District—three years longer than I promised the Board in 2016. Serving in this capacity has been a dream come true personally and professionally, and I will be forever grateful and dedicated to our staff, students, parents and patrons.
For personal reasons involving my family, I have submitted a letter of resignation to the Board of Trustees as Superintendent of Schools effective June 30, 2021. By making this announcement now, the Board will have time to conduct a thoughtful search for the next superintendent.
During the next six months, we will continue to focus on educating our children and taking care of one another. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
Warm regards,
Dr. Mary Ann Ranells
Superintendent of Schools
West Ada School District
