Degrees and Certifications:

Elizabeth Daron

Welcome everyone!

I hope you are all excited to have a great year, no matter how different it looks.

This is my first year at MHS, and I am excitied and proud to be a Warrior this year! I am originally from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, but moved to Meridian just before I started High School. I have A B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University, and a B.A. in English Teaching from Boise State. After graduating, I taught 8th grade English before coming to MHS to teach 9th grade!

I am an avid believer that every person's background and history contributes to a cohesive classroom environment filled with a variety of perspectives that helps makes us well-rounded indviduals. We have the opportunity to explore many topics through literature, so I ask that you come with an open mind as we tackle real world questions!

I am an avid hiker and have two pups (who I'm sure you'll hear all about later!), but I also love to run, read, and play games- both board and video!

I can't wait to work with you all and get to kow you this year! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
