Mrs. Marissa Stine

Welcome to 3rd Grade!

I'm Marissa Stine and I am excited to be here at Pleasant View Elementary School! Go PRONGHORNS!!

I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, Reading, and Early Childhood Education in the winter of 2005.  After graduation, I headed straight to the classroom in January of 2006 to teach in Glendale, AZ.  I taught 4th grade and two more years of 5th grade before heading back to Spokane.  When I moved back to Spokane, I taught 5th grade along with 6th grade Science.  Since 2010, I have been a stay at home mom, as well as, running my own personal training business.  In the 2014-2015 school year I headed back into the classroom as a substitute teacher where I stayed very busy until moving here to Meridian in the winter of 2019.  I taught at Lake Hazel Elementary School as a GT Teacher in 2019-2020 school year. This is my second year in 3rd grade and I am looking forward to another AMAZING year.

I'm all about fun while working hard, so you will definitely find me dressed up on Spirit Days and getting in on anything competitive around school to encourage the students.

I am thrilled to be part of an OUTSTANDING team here at Pleasant View and I am eager to see what we all can do TOGETHER this year and future years to come.

Let's show everyone what Pronghorn Strong means and have an outstanding year together!
