Degrees and Certifications:

Miss Frederick

Hello! My name is Paityn Frederick and I am teaching 7th grade English Language Arts. I was raised in McCall, Idaho, and graduated from the McCall Donnelly School District in 2016. I majored in Secondary Education and English at the University of Idaho, where I was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and volunteered for the Girls on the Run nonprofit organization. I graduated in the spring of 2020 with honors after completing my student teaching at Payette Lakes Middle School. This is my first year teaching, and my first year in West Ada School District, and I could not be more excited! I am ready for all the challenges this year throws at me, and hope to learn a lot in the process.

I love traveling and exploring, and I am definitely a bit of a history nut! I also believe that there is nothing better than settling down with a good book and some apple cider. In the summers, I spend my time as a professional horse back trail guide out of McCall, and I couldn't imagine spending my time off any other way.

I am very passionte about teaching, and hope to foster a love of learning and exploring with every student. I believe that it is so important that we are able to read and write coherently, so that we are able to express our opinions, interets, and passions to others, while also being able to empathize with their's. Here's to a wonderful new school year full of new experiences!
