Mrs. Jennifer Hall
Hello and welcome back to school!
Meet Mrs. Hall. . .
My name is Jenny Hall (Mrs. Hall) and I am thrilled to say that I am the Resource teacher here at McMillan Elementary School!!! I am so excited to be able to work with you and your child this school year! :) A little about myself...I have been teaching for over 15 years (20 if you count subbing and taking on longterm teaching assignments). I moved here from Southern California, with my very loving and supportive husband Michael, just over a year ago. We have four adult children (one daughter and three sons) who are all grown up, independent, successful and living their best lives. Our daughter lives with her husband in Seattle, Washington. Our sons all live in Charlotte, NC. We have a little fur-baby named Bella; she is a Phantom Poodle who is the cutest little thing, if I do say so myself. :)
I live for the outdoors! I enjoy going to art museums. My husband and I love to ride on electric scooters and bicycles and taking walks in the parks here in Boise. I love to go shopping, and enjoy going to the movies, grabbing a Starbucks or going to Dawson Taylor in Downtown Boise. We love to travel far and wide and also visit any and all amusement parks. I grew up swimming, playing in the snow, and believe that I had the best childhood ever! My favorite colors are pink and purple and if it sparkles, I will probably be wearing it. :) I absolutely love being able to hang out with my family. My family means the world to me and they will always come first in my life. If I'm not at work, I am usually spending time with my family and/or my friends doing one of the above activities. If there is water near by, you will likely see me there. I live very close to the greenbelt in Boise, so my husband and I enjoy taking our little poodle out for walks along the river. As a child, I grew up in Nampa and went to school there from Pre-K through 5th grade. I always wanted to move back to Idaho so we finally made our dreams come true a little over a year ago. We just moved my parents here a couple of weeks ago as well. I honestly couldn't be happier than I am right now.
As for my educational background, I graduated from the University of California, Riverside with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Sociology and a Minor in Education. I also attended Graduate school at Azusa Pacific University, CA and received my Masters Degree in Education as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, K-8. Lastly, I received my Special Education Teaching Credential from Brandman University (Special Education, K-12). You can definitely call me a lifelong learner as I am always looking increase my knowledge, read new books, and continue to grow so that I may bring the latest and greatest resources to my classroom and to your child.
I am a firm believer that school is a place for learning and that ALL children WILL succeed! I am here to support all students with their educational goals. I truly believe that if we ALL work together, we will see your child blossom into becoming a very successful and capable learner as well as a successful adult one day. Here is to a wonderful school year! Please make sure to encourage your child each and every day to come to school ready to learn! Stay safe, stay healthy, and have a wonderful year with your child! I can't wait to get to know all of you.
All my best!
