Lindsey Mepham, School Counselor

Degrees and Certifications:

Lindsey Mepham - School Counselor

My name is Lindsey Mepham (pronounced Mef-um) and I am your child’s school counselor at Desert Sage Elementary. I am so excited to be the new counselor at Desert Sage and get to know the students and families. I received my Master’s degree in School Counseling from BSU this past May and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from BSU in May of 2015. This is my first year working as a school counselor and I am excited to be joining the Desert Sage community. I have experience working as a counseling intern in the West Ada School District at all levels and absolutely love working with elementary students. I will be at Desert Sage full-time, supporting students with social/emotional needs as well as providing community resources for families. Throughout the school year, I will be meeting with students individually, in groups, and doing classroom lessons. I hope to create a safe and welcoming space for both students and families to reach out in times of need.

Elementary school counseling has always been a passion of mine. I love learning from students, helping them work through problems they face, teaching them important life skills, and helping them be successful at school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs, going on walks, crafting, and camping.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about counseling services and/or community resources at Desert Sage. I am here to support students and families in any way that I can.
