Welcome to the Mountain View High School Choir Department!
My name is Mrs. Natalie Stone, and I am delighted and honored to be the Choral Director. I look forward to getting to know all students and parents throughout this school year. Whether the student has never sung before or they sing all the time, we will aim to create an environment that will help all feel comfortable to experiment with their voice and be expressive in their singing.
Performing in a choral ensemble provides students with so much beyond musical training. Students learn cooperation and teamwork, commitment and responsibility, as well as perseverance and self-discipline. Students who participate in a choir are shown to perform better in their studies, especially in math. They also exhibit improved confidence and self-esteem. I encourage you to help your child become involved in music in some way, whether it is listening to music together, taking private lessons, or attending local concerts.

Become a Choir Booster!
Dear Choir Parents,
We are off to a fabulous start with our amazing new choir director Natalie Stone! We have a great year planned and we are hoping that some of you would like to get involved in supporting these talented kids by being a part of Choir Boosters. We would like to assign two adults to be the Booster representatives for each choir. This requires minimal commitment on your part. You would just need to:1. Come to each concert 1 hour early and be backstage to do uniform checks, assist with any costume malfunctions, and help keep your choir organized. You will be able to go into the auditorium before the concert begins and watch your kids perform. After the concert, depending on the choir, you may need to come backstage and help check-in robes, and vests.2. If you are available, take a turn helping to organize and serve lunchtime treats to choir students on the day of the concerts. (In the choir room.)
If you would be interested in being a Booster please contact Mrs. Natalie Stone as soon as possible! We look forward to working together to support this great program.Warmly,Helen StoneChoir Boosters, President
