Parenting Kids On The Way Out

How to transition from being a parent to a lifelong consultant & friend.

This six-week session will discuss how to parent your child when they are getting ready to independently enter the world and pursue their goals after high school.

How do we as parents go from the hands-on parenting we are used to and becoming more like a consultant?

How do we continue to guide them, still be a part of their lives, and yet create a respectful and loving relationship with them that will last a lifetime?

That is our goal, and we will address this by discussing Love & Logic tools within the topics of communication, healthy boundaries, financial choices, empowering vs enabling, and much more.

I invite you to join me, a career counselor and a mother of three (two who are in college), as we journey together in learning how to let go in healthy ways and find helpful tools to stay in good relationship with our kids as they move on. It starts now when they are still in our homes!
