This is my 20th year in the West Ada School District. This is my 14th year at Centennial High School as a Physical Education Teacher and Performance Specialist.
I hold a Master Degree in Education, Secondary Teaching Certificate in grades 6-12 Health and a K-12 Teaching Certificate in PE from Boise State University. I have a Bachelor Degree in Exercises Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Physical Education from Boise State University.
CROSSFIT & SPORTS PERFORMANCE EDUCATION
I am certified as an EXOS Performance Specialist and Functional Movement Screen Specialist. I am a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and Crossfit Kids Trainer. I have a NASM Youth Exercise Specialist Certification and certificates of Completion from EXOS (formerly Athletes Performance) Mentorship Courses. I am a certified Sports Performance Coach at OFF THE FIELD Performance Center and with USA Weightlifting. Beyond these certificates of completion I have completed courses in Speed, Power and Strength, Conditioning, Recovery and Regeneration, Nutrition, and Corrective Exercise.
I have coached soccer for the past 26 years at the recreational, club, Olympic Development Program, high school and collegiate levels with time at Northern Arizona University and Iowa State University Women's Soccer Programs 1995-2000. I coached the Centennial High School Boys Soccer Program from 2003-2013 and spent 2 years as the Head Coach of the Girls Program from 2012-2014 before taking a coaching position with the Rocky Mountain High School Girls Soccer Program. Currently, I am the Head Coach of Girls Soccer at Eagle High School. I am a Certified "A" Licensed Soccer Coach and a National Youth Licensed Soccer Coach through the United States Soccer Federation. Further, I have completed courses through the KNVB (Dutch National Soccer Federation), FC Barcelona Coaching Academy, United Soccer Coaches, and National Federation of High Schools.

I say that "every day is game day". We prepare for it, we fuel for it, and we rest for it." With that being said , I teach fitness and performance classes to provide the most current research-based methodology's and performance systems to prepare students to get the most out of their bodies by improving performance and functional movements, decreasing injury potential, motivating students through education and helping students achieve their goals.
I enjoy CrossFit, Obstacle Course Racing specifically racing in the Spartan series, paddle boarding, wake surfing, travelling, the outdoors, and coaching soccer.
