Hello and welcome to the 2018-19 school year!  I am excited to be working with you and your child this year.  I am passionate about teaching and learning and my hope is to pass on that love of learning to your child during this fun and challenging year. 

This will be my seventh year teaching second grade at Chief Joseph School of the Arts, and my fourteenth year teaching in the West Ada School district.  Prior to teaching second grade, I was a special eduation (resource room)  teacher working with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  I am a Boise State University graduate and you will frequently hear our class cheering for BSU during football season!  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and also have an endoresement in Special Education.  I am highly qualified in the areas of general education, special education, and literacy.

My husband and I have been married for 12 years.  We are the proud parents of an 11 year old daughter and I am lucky to be a step-parent to two boys who are 16 and 19.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, gardening and going to the movies.
