Welcome to Second Grade in Room 16

I am excited to start a new year with your child!

Here at Desert Sage we are focusing on Learner Powers this year. You will not hear us talking about Core Values as much because these learning skills have been incorporated into the Learner Powers. These super important Learner Powers are:

Collaboration, Perseverance, Curiosity, Reflection and Self-Management

We will also be learning to use “Toolbox” Skills. These are thinking, caring, calming and sharing skills.
