Mrs. Cindy Ruths
Hi my name is Cindy Ruths. I have been teaching Early Intervention, at Frontier, for the past 23 years. I have 2 class sessions; an AM class and a PM class. In the AM we have the Inclusion class which is a combination of my Early Intervention children (on IEP's-- Individualized Education Plans) and 8 typical children from the YMCA Guided Disocvery program. I share teaching responsibilities with Bonnie Stotland, the YMCA Teacher. The Y children are wonderful social and language models for the EI children that struggle in these areas. Kids learn best from kids so we are delighted to have combined our classess for the success of all children. Bonnie is a treasure and has shared teaching with me for 22 years. We, Bonnie and I, share teaching time with my two paraprofessionals Theresa Moore and Michelle Schilli. They have been with me for 15+ years and are fabulous. The 4 of us are a closely knit team that have so much fun teaching! My PM class only has children on IEP's so is a smaller class; myself and my paras teach this session. We also have an SLP, OT, and PT who join us on a weekly basis.
My husband (of 40 years) and I have three grown children; 2 sons and a daughter. They have blessed us with 10 grandkids. Needless to say I love to spend time with my family. My interestes are sewing, camping, biking, and traveling. My favorite things are kids and anything trees and the outdoors!
