7th-9th Grade Level Math

I love helping students discover that they can take on the challenge of persevering through tough math problems, finding a little joy in math class! This is my eleventh year teaching at Galileo and my 20th year of teaching. I’m originally from southern California, where I started my career teaching math and science to 7th graders. I met my husband & we chose to move here, where he grew up. I’m very happy to have settled in Idaho. Since moving to Idaho, I have taught all core subjects in middle school and taught a year of fifth grade. Math is the subject I love to teach and Galileo gives me that opportunity to teach lots of levels of math.
I have a fabulous family that includes my husband, Jeff, and my two kids. My daughter, Austyn, is 12 and my son, Calvin, is 10.
