Welcome to 1st grade!  I am Mindy Parker, and I have the best job in the world!  I adore children, and am passionate about teaching.  I started in education as a secondary Science teacher. I have a strong Math and Science background.  However, my heart is with the little people.  I have been teaching Kindergarten and First Grade since 2004.  I LOVE my job!!  I enjoy creating  a strong foundation for kids to take with them throughout their education careers.  I hope to instill in each one of them  ownership and enthusiasm of learning.  I am excited to work with you this year!
