My name is Kathy Werner and I am a fifth grade teacher at Paramount Elementary.  I have been teaching for 29 years and still love coming to work every day!   Growing up I always admired my teachers, and they were my inspiration to enter this wonderful, noble and rewarding profession. I love learning and each everyday my personal goal is to learn two new things. 

I was born in Oregon and then moved to Idaho at the end of my fifth grade year.  I attended BSU where I earned my BA in Elementary Education. 

I am married and have three wonderful children, and a darling grandson. My children all STEM degrees, and my grandson loves math and science.
