Mr. Michael Woolery

Welcome to the Second Grade. I know that this year will be exciting and full of new experiences. Your child will be involved in a learning experience that will be fun and will expand his/her learning horizons. My class uses a varied number of teaching techniques and learning tools. Some of the teaching techniques will be whole class teaching, small group, and individual. I will also present new concepts in a varied number of ways to help your student understand those concepts through their own special learning abilities. The learning environment will be thoughtful and caring while helping the student learn to enjoy the educational process.

I've been teaching for 18 years.  My first 4 years was as a Fifth Grade teacher in Montana, 3 years as a Fourth Grade teacher here at Lake Hazel Elementary, and 11years as Second Grade teacher.  My wife is a minster at the First Baptist Church in New Plymouth Idaho when we own a 6 acre ranch.  I train horses, give lessons, do farrier work, and rodeo.  Before I was a teacher I had a business with my father.  My family consists of my brothers, sister, mom, 5 grandchildren, and 4 tie-down horses.

I am available to answer questions or meet, and I can be reached by phone, email, and available before or after school.  Contact info.: email is woolery.michael@westada.org, phone is 208-350-4075 ext. 1111, and you can send not to school via the Homework Folder
