Mrs. Tisha Johnson
When I was seven I wanted to be a teacher. I would set up my “classroom”, hand out assignments, and my friends were happy to be the students. I thought that teachers rode the bus to school and slept at school. I have since then learned that teachers drive their own cars and sleep in their own beds…thankfully!
This is my 11th year at Lewis and Clark Middle School! I can’t think of a better place to work. I enjoy working with, learning alongside, and teaching students. I am impressed with my colleagues and their dedication to helping students learn and improving their own teaching methods.
I enjoy teaching Health. I think it is the most important subject for students to learn and apply. Their health choices that they make now can have long lasting effects on their health. It is very hard to learn about other subjects when students aren’t physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially healthy.
What makes me especially happy as a teacher is when I see students think about their own health habits and improve them, contribute to the learning community, and being kind to other students.
This will be a great year of learning and creating healthier habits!
My calendar and any needed assignments will be updated by Thursday of each week.
